Welcome to the NEW South Central Calhoun Homeschool Assistance Program (SCCHSAP). We are pleased to provide Home School Assistance Program (HSAP) services to local families and those open enrolled into the program. The Home School Assistance Program (HSAP) offers assistance to parents\/guardians who choose to teach their children at home.\u00a0 Parents\/guardians are directly responsible for planning curriculum and teaching their children. They are free to incorporate their own values and philosophy of education. The SCC HSAP can help families by offering curriculum materials,<\/span> resources, and support & guidance from a licensed supervising teacher. Resources are linked below providing further information.<\/span><\/p>\n Mission<\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b>The mission of the South Central Calhoun CSD HSAP program is to\u00a0<\/span>collaboratively support and assist families in academic and extra-curricular <\/span>excellence in preparing each student for the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Goal<\/b><\/p>\n The goal of the SCC Home School Assistance Program (SCC HSAP) is to\u00a0<\/span>empower parents to educate their children in the home environment with<\/span>\u00a0the assistance of a credentialed teacher and administrative staff who can\u00a0<\/span>help them achieve educational goals.\u00a0<\/span> Home Educators take legal responsibility for the educational progress of<\/span> their children.
