Ms. Mona Schulte “was all for kids and loved her chocolate parties.” These were just some of the few highlights shared as both current and former educators gathered with family in the SCC Middle School to remember and honor Ms. Schulte.
For 21 years Ms. Schulte served Lytton and Rockwell City schools as a classroom teacher. Recently, Ms. Schulte lost her battle with cancer and in memory of this lifelong educator her family presented South Central Calhoun CSD with forty-five books to be distributed to students and classrooms at the district’s discretion.
We would like to say “Thank You” to the family not only for the donation but for honoring Ms. Schulte’s legacy.
